  5. FileTrax© is the easiest, most powerful file tracking database available.  FileTrax is drag-and-drop savvy so it automatically extracts all of the information you will every need to effectively track your files. Whether you want to keep track of files you've downloaded, files you have on the hard drive, or just a certain group of files you need organized, it's effortless.  FileTrax is also a launcher so can also launch any of the files you have "tracked" from within FileTrax.

  7. Features include:
  8. •File information: Track your files by name, file type, subtype, size, version, author, creation date, modification date, where it was acquired from, type of software, if it's paid for, and a rating.
  9. •Searching: Powerful search ability. Instantly jump to a known file or just hit one of the index letters A through Z to view files starting with that letter.
  10. •List: List all files or list by numerous subtypes.
  11. •Printing: Print single records of files or lists of any files you want.
  12. •Launching:  Click the "Launch" button to launch any file you have "tracked."
  13. •Drop Adder:  Just drop files onto the Drop Adder to add them to FileTrax.

  15. Requirements:
  16. •FileMaker Pro 2.x
  17. •Applescript 1.x.  It's necessary for "Auto-Add" and access to the printing features.

  20. •••As in previous releases, comments, criticisms, suggestions, ANYTHING is welcome input.  I promise that I will try and implement all of your good ideas into the next version of FileTrax, so don't think think that your opinions don't count.  Keep those comments and ideas coming!

  22. FileTrax is shareware, but I'm not asking much.  The shareware situation is as follows:

  24. $15- You’ll receive all new versions of FileTrax via e-mail. And you’ll also receive the password to allow you to edit FileTrax.
  25. $20- You’ll receive the latest version on disk via U.S. Mail and all other new versions in the future via e-mail(if you have an address). You’ll also receive the password to allow you to edit FileTrax.
  26. $25- This is for people who live outside of the United States. Same as the $20 description, but the extra five dollars is for shipping costs.
